I’d love to expand my customer base and I’m interested in any ideas other people may have to do so. I also sell organic spices – so I know one expansion would help the other.

I have been selling that product since 1994, long before they went online! Even though the web helps, I find the best way to get the word out there with this product is through party plan. It’s easier to demonstrate to several people than 1 at a time. I no longer market through party plan but that was how I made the most income with it. I still find word of mouth and asking for referrals is the best way to build relationships with your customers. Be sure to add your url to your signatures in your email program, place an ad on craigs list as well as Kijiji for your city.

How about advertising in "Utne" or "Ode" magazines? There is also "Ready Made," but they might have higher rates. How about getting a booth at your local farmer’s market?
