Or is self reliance a crazy principle to follow? I have 6 months worth for my family and I think that’s good enough for now.

We have at least a year’s supply put up, and for some essentials (like flour and salt) we have more like two years’ worth. We also produce our own electricity, and have our own well, with a 500 gallon storage tank. We have the tools and capacity to spin wool into yarn, to tan hides and work them, and to hunt and fish for our meat.
I prefer to be prepared for any eventuality.

Yes I am interested…..I am wanting to get mine done. I have maybe 2 months worth for now and that is better then nothing.
I hope by the end of this year we will have a year supply.
