If kept in a warehouse or indoors (does it make a difference) how long will it keep? What items keep longer than others? How long? What types of items last forever in storage?
After Katrina I am amazed that no one has the answer to this question. Earthquakes, drought, hurricanes all around……does anyone prepare for these things???

4 rice, beans, canned food will keep longer than fresh fruit of course

about the forever , the only thing that i know that will definitely last forever is salt
