Ok I feed my dog the raw diet, and I was wondering if this is an Ok emergency food? It’s Taste Of The Wild. The exact food is shown in the link below:

I was just wondering, because I feed raw, and I know you have to have a special kind of kibble for emergency.
Tiger does well on it, and he likes it. No runs or vomiting.
If it’s Ok, I’m gonna buy a 20lb bag to keep on hand.
Taste Of The Wild is high quality food! 
I was expecting to see something nasty like Purina as emergency food. But nope! =]

It would work for Max if for some reason I couldn’t feed raw.
Bindi would probably turn her nose up at it, and get the runs.
But yes if your dog does well on it keep it around for emergencies.

It has a lot of extra unnecessary ingredients, my dog would have hives, BUT, it does have all the components I like to see.. Plenty of meat protein, low on carbs..
If my dogs weren’t allergic to everything it’s something I would consider having around for emergencies.. I would consider it similar to Innova Evo and similar good brands..

Im a bit spoilt here because I live 5 minutes from a butcher!
If for any reason I couldnt feed Rocco his usual raw, I would just fast him for a day or two, no problem.
I had a look at the link you posted. To me it looks *O.K*, but If you say he does well on it, then yeh, keep some on hand.
Have you got a spare freezer? Im not sure about where you live, but here if you buy in bulk you can get meat dirt cheap. I stocked up so much for over chrissy that we cant get anything else in the freezer!
That way you can always keep spare supplies. Small second hand freezers are usually really cheap.

Its the food i feed my french bulldog, she is my only dog that does poorly with grain. She does excellent on it, she loves it and it keeps her from chewing her feet which she did with all other foods.

The only thing I see wrong with it is it has "egg product". I forget why but it should be "whole egg" Over all looks like a good food to me.
