Is it safe to keep for a year or 2

Good idea in some places (like hurricane areas, snow or ice storm areas). Just swap it out once or twice a year. Don’t forget water and first aid items too.

Do you know of any self heating meals in case of an emergency? I just heard of EverSafe.
i have emergency water and first aid. i figure i can grab the cans out of the cupboard for emergency food.
ya know i heard about a self heating can of soup awhile ago – maybe in a preliminary survey. campbells even. but i haven’t seen or heard about it in the open market. i imagine they would have a lot of kinks to work out to avoid being sued by some dummy.
