Is THIS a good emergency food?

Ok I feed my dog the raw diet, and I was wondering if this is an Ok emergency food? It’s Taste Of The Wild. The exact food is shown in the link below:

I was just wondering, because I feed raw, and I know you have to have a special kind of kibble for emergency.
Tiger does well on it, and he likes it. No runs or vomiting.

If it’s Ok, I’m gonna buy a 20lb bag to keep on hand.

Taste Of The Wild is high quality food! :) I was expecting to see something nasty like Purina as emergency food. But nope! =]

emergency food stamps?

I applied for emergency food stamps the 22nd I know the holidays probably slowed things up but shouldn’t I have gotten them by now?? I was approved.
if you know nothing about someones situation maybe you should shut your mouth! My family and I came up on hard times just like a lot of people in this country has. Just know that Karma is a B***H
thanks but already did that and have left many messages.

emergency food Stamps take 5 working days generally. The 24th may or may not have been a working day for that office where you are. So 22. 23. 24?, 28, 29 or 22, 23, 28, 29, 30. If you need food before they come go to http://www.feedingamerica.org and find the food bank nearest you and contact them for he4lp and fr info about food pantries near you,

I am going to start store some canned food for emergency, which canned food are good / healthy to store?

Any emergency in case of disaster, economic downfall, war, anything. Its really a good idea to have canned food / water supply stored and rotate them about once a month…. camping items are great idea, thanks~!

Try something like MREs and bottled water. The water you can cycle through the normal day-to-day use, buying a few gallons to replace the gallons you use periodically. The MREs will last pretty much with no worries for five or six years. After that, you should find a reason to eat them, and replace them. Five years is a long time, though.

You can find MREs and similar long-term storage food at camping stores or even at internet sites like Sportsman’s Guide. (No I don’t get a commission, but I like some of the stuff they have.) And while you’re putting up stuff for emergencies, think about some cash and maybe a hand-cranked radio/light. If you go camping, you probably already have a lot of what you need. One more thought- I’d keep these "emergency" supplies in a 30-gallon garbage can, which you can use in an emergency. PBS had a few programs on what you might want to keep, including food.
