What’s a fitness plan that I can follow to lose excess fat mostly in the lower body parts?

March 15th, 2010

I know spot reduction is impossible and losing fat occurs to the whole body so I need suggestions of a fitness plan that I can follow to lose excess fat especially in the lower body part (bum, upper thigns) I’m slim in the upper body parts but it’s just my large bum that I’m unconfident about. I’m a high school student and I’m not very active, I’m the paperwork type of person.

treadmill 5x a week 30 mins a day guaranteed to lose weight if you eat right also that means avoiding junk food and soda.

Can anyone give me tips for bodybuilding?

March 15th, 2010

I am 15 years and 3 months old.I started bodybuilding when I was 14.5.After a viral dieases and Maleria togather for two months my muscles got too weak that they could hardly move. After that I started bodybuilding again and after few months I found that my height wasn’t growing.I had 12.5 inches biceps.I stopped weight-lifting.Then my biceps became smaller.
I am 5’6.5 tall, waist 26 inches and biceps 10.5 inches.I do about 30 pull-ups and bicep-arm-curl along with benchpress(I do both of them with a little weight).I eat very healthy food too.But that isnt helping me to get large biceps.
I am too skinny and have too little fat.Can anyone suggest me what to do?

Your working out sounds good, but what exactly do you eat? Be sure to include Fat Free Cottage cheese, lean chicken and turkey, oysters, brussel sprouts, broccoli, garlic, eggs, lean beef, beans, and cabbage into your diet.

Weight training progress video

March 14th, 2010

This is a before/after video of me trough my weight training journey. I made it naturally all the way and plan to keep it that way.

The images and clips were realized with an old webcam so you won’t see much of the muscle details, but they are there… use your imagination to compensate.

What causes the muscle over a horses eye to get sunk in?

March 12th, 2010

I have heard that the muscle above a horses eye starts to sink in when their teath are not floated correctly. Is this the cause? What else will cause the sunken muscle? Is there a way to correct it?

Ya know I don’t have a for sure answer for you…I can say though that when I had older /aged horses the muscle above their eyes were alot more sunk in then younger horses I had. So maybe it has something to do with age??? How old is your horse?

What kind of weight training routine do Olympic swimmers follow?

March 12th, 2010

Does anyone know the weight training routine Olympic swimmers follow or know where I can find it? Thanks.

I am not an Olympic swimmer, but i swim in college and I’m on the same weight program that many swimmers who are top 5 in the country in their event.

The weight training depends on what stroke(s) you do, and at what distances. Sprinters want to build a lot of upper body muscle to pull themselves and reach the highest possible top speed. Distance swimmers want more balance and to use the large leg muscles to maintain a good, realistic speed. Breast strokes have much more leg muscle than butterfliers.

If you are looking for a healthy, realistic training program, theres one i always look to during the summer when the distance group goes off weight training that i would recommend.

that is good if you are a highschool swimmer or someone looking to get into shape. Olympic training programs are rigorous tho. Olympic swimmers get as much as physically possible out of their body every day. It takes a huge toll on you physically and mentally and they generally eat 7000+ calories to keep up with the amount of energy they burn.

What are the basic fitness requirements to be a Cop?

March 12th, 2010

When you go into the Police Academy you have to be able to pass their Fitness Test or whatever. What are some basic things you have to do in this test, and how many push ups, pull ups, and sit ups and whatever.

This will vary, but the requirements should be provided to anyone who inquires. Very, very early in my time on Yahoo Answers, I was able to find the requirements for one city on their website to answer a similar question — so if you tell me which force you are attempting to learn about, I might be able to find it.

I also had a patient who was moving across the country to join he force in a major city on the West coast, and he had hearing loss from military service. Fortunately, their guidelines were very specific, and he was actually able to meet there criteria. Of course these requirements are to for ENTRY to the academy or force — they don’t seem to perform routine fitness evaluations! LOL!

What’s the next big thing in bodybuilding and sports nutrition?

March 12th, 2010

The last big thing, since I remembered, in bodybuilding and sports nutrition was creatine. It came out about a decade ago, and all my friends started using it and benefited from it. Now, what’s new in the market and will be widely used in the future?

Beta Alanine is supposedly the next big thing.

There are some very popular supplements right now that use it like Controlled Labs Purple Wraath and NO Shotgun.
