We are considering a move to the Seattle/Bellevue, Washington area. We are currently Lifetime Fitness Center members and are looking for a club that offers the same amenities. I see "24 Hour Fitness" but was wondering if that was the best fit.

What type of cheese has the lowest fat, highest protien. The point is what cheese is best for body building, American, Swiss, Provolone? I know cottage is great for bodybuilding but all of those 3, what will be the best, or should I not eat the cheese since it has fat calories?
provolone cheese is the healthiest for bodybuilding
it has high protein

I know the basics of weight training for men but have never weight trained a woman. A friend wants me to help her weight train to lose fat. How do I do this?
well she needs to do a mix of weight lifting and cardio for maximum results
i’d personally start with high intensity exercises like
day #1 squats, then keep the pace with some deadlifts, and then onto the t-mill for ~20 mins————-high reps lower weight….high reps being 20-25 reps….30 secs-90 sec rest
day #2- power lifting then upright rows then pushups, then onto the t-mill or some elliptical.
day #3…core/back exercises….power set these- pullups (assisted if needed) cambered rows, captains chair, then normal situps.
3-5 sets…rep count, as much as she can manage.
day #4, 10-20 mins of "Targetted" exercises then 10-20 mins of a sprint/fast run/fast jog on a t-mill
3 rest days…
increase intensity as needed
the difference between the genders aren’t really that big, other than "generally" women start off a lot weaker than men…
women can’t gain "mass" like men…
women are "usually" more determined
PS: most of these exercises are usually done at high weights, don’t do it because you need to #1. feel out how strong she is #2 you don’t want to injure anyone. #3 Make sure she warms up and intakes alot of calcium ~150-175% of a normal daily value, for the first few weeks, then back to 100% of daily value.
if you get any pain complaints…watch her form, and lower weight..slow the intensity if NEEDED…but always try to cut time off as you repeat this..

My workout routine usually consists of running 1.5 miles and doing different types of weight training. I wanting to lose 10-12 pounds that I have put on after entering college, but this has been a very hard task for me thus far. So…I’m looking for a good fitness bar to eat after I workout to help me with my weight loss process. Thanks for any advice.
Askmen.com recommends Cliff bars. There are multiple varieties, including high-protein (although what you need most for recovery are carbs to restore muscle glycogen).

Askmen.com also rates chocolate milk as the #1 recovery food, if taken soon after the conclusion of the workout.
As for me, I stick to a homemade shake with water and soy milk, protein powder, fruit, raw cocoa, brewer’s yeast, and flax meal.

I am 13 years old and I really want to start bodybuilding. Its been a big dream of mine to have muscles like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Because of my age, what is the best way to start training? Thankyou!
At your age I would start out using bodyweight exercises. Pushups, situps, pullups, dips, etc. Get good and strong on these before you move onto lifting weights.

what type of workouts do you do for bodybuilding and same for strength training
i think its about the reps and Weight but im not sure
They are fairly different, being one’s goal is to make it look like you life much weight while the other is to lift much. Their isn’t really a workout for both, being you need to be one or the other. Now I do have friends who do that the Strength for 2 months and then Size for 2 month, or even alternate by season. Strength less reps heavier amount, Size more reps less weight.
